Even after 10+ years of working in adventure travel, there are still moments every single day that take our breath away, and remind us how lucky we are to be on planet Earth! To share those moments, we pulled 24 pictures from 2024 that capture the wonder of Mother Nature and the power of connection and community—the foundations of WHOA.
Mother Earth. Connection. Community. Each of these comes in different shapes, sizes, and forms, and to feel them all together is one of the most powerful and inspiring things a person can experience. We had millions of these moments this year, so you can imagine how hard it was to narrow it down to just 24!
All of these pictures were captured by our adventurous WHOA women who probably have a lot in common with you! They aren’t professional photographers, in fact, most of them were taken on iPhones by women who leaned into their courage and curiosity, and took the leap to hike outside their comfort zones (and were rewarded tenfold)!
