There's always a great mix of solo travelers, pairs, and groups of friends, but the greatest thing about a WHOA Adventure is that we walk in as strangers and leave as family! If you're traveling solo, we'll pair you up with another solo traveler to room and tent with throughout the adventure. You'll be amazed at how quickly bonds are formed between our mountain family!

We curate small group experiences, and the exact size depends on the adventure. There's a sweet spot in group travel depending on the itinerary and location, and we pride ourselves on offering adventures that have the right size to create an intimate group dynamic for the challenge at hand.

There’s no time better than the present to step out of your comfort zone! We love taking women on their maiden adventure and we can work with you to make sure you are comfortable and prepared for whatever you take on. We’re always here to talk adventure, so please reach out to talk to us about where you’re at. Our only caution is that WHOA Adventures are addicting!

We plan our adventures with most of the logistics taken care of, so you can focus on lacing up your hiking boots and being your best adventure self! Airfare is not included in the price, BUT under most circumstances all your ground transfers upon arrival are on us. Check out the “What's Included” section on each of our trip pages to see all that is included. The vast majority of your trip costs go towards supporting local communities and women while also benefiting environmental initiatives, like those through our partnership with 1% for the Planet.

Travel doesn't always go as planned! That's part of the adventure, and it's also the reason we require all of our adventurers to have a travel insurance plan that includes medical coverage and emergency medical evacuation. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing a travel insurance plan ASAP to cover you financially with any costs that can come up like trip interruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. The IMG LX plan is one option that offers excellent medical and evacuation coverage, has no altitude restrictions, and offers cancel for any reason, but do your research before purchasing a plan to make sure it works for you and your situation!
