THE BREAKDOWN

FEB 1 // THURSDAY // ALL ABOARD

We'll board our boat and home for the next week, the Sea Dragon, in St Georges, Grenada. We'll meet the crew, settle in, and have a thorough briefing on the expedition that lies ahead. In the evening, we'll enjoy a welcome dinner together aboard our yacht, the Sea Dragon, and talk more about what's in store for our week on the sea!
Included: Welcome dinner

FEB 2 // FRIDAY // CAST OFF

After a thorough safety briefing we'll get under way from St Georges and start learning how to sail on the most crystal clear waters you may ever see. Along the way, and before leaving Grenadan waters, we'll sample the water for plastic pollution (research permit pending). We'll arrive at Salt Whistle Bay, just in time for one of those famous Caribbean sunsets! Over dinner we'll discuss the samples we collected and learn more about plastic pollution affecting our oceans and engage in further discussion.
Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

FEB 3 // SATURDAY // Don't you clean up nice?!

In the morning, we'll trek along the windward shoreline and do an ocean plastic cleanup, sort and analysis and learn more about ocean pollution and its impact on our health. We'll take a short afternoon sail and learn more about the sport, as we head to the gorgeous Tobago Cays, where we'll spend the evening sharing stories over dinner, and enjoy being in the company of such an awesome group of women with one of the best backdrops in the world.
Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

FEB 4 // SUNDAY // SHELL WE GO FOR A SWIM?

We have all day to explore the amazing, uninhabited Tobago Cays, and we'll even have the chance to swim with sea turtles! In the evening, we'll have a beach BBQ and continue taking in our amazing surroundings with some much deserved r&r and convo time!
Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

FEB 5 // MONDAY // SAIL AWAY

Today, we'll continue using our new sailing skills through the Caribbean Sea as we sail back to Grenadan waters, picking up some more plastic pollution samples along the way for comparison analysis and discussion.
Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

FEB 6 // TUESDAY // LAND HO!

We'll spend the day ashore in Grenada connecting with local outreach organizations on the island. In the evening, we'll enjoy our last dinner together and discuss all that we've learned about our ocean's health, and how we can take the lessons and learnings from our week at sea with us beyond the Sea Dragon.
Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

FEB 7 // WEDNESDAY // SEA YOU LATER...

In the morning, we'll wrap and pack up our home for the past week, and say our farewells to the crew. But the parties not over just yet!
