HALF A DECADE ON THE ROOF THE AFRICA
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!
Our FIFTH annual Kilimanjaro International Women's Day trek starts tomorrow and we couldn't be more excited to be celebrating this special day on Kilimanjaro once again!!!
Back in 2014 on our first IWD Kilimanjaro Summit, we had no idea how many incredible people we'd meet, the lives we'd touch, and the impact this special summit would have on so many, ourselves included. Five years and 112 Kili climbers later, women from around the world are continuing to stand on the Roof of Africa on an occasion that celebrates the outstanding achievements of women year after year. You can follow and cheer on our 2018 team's journey in real time @whoatravel on Instagram and Facebook!

DID YOU HEAR...
WTF?!
You're reading that right, Women's Travel Fest (aka WTF) is just around the corner! If you're in the NYC area March 9-11, come say hi to us and meet the fabulous lineup of ladies who are leading the charge AND THE CHANGE in the travel space. We'll be there talking adventure travel and what exactly that even means anymore on Saturday at 3:30pm with Kathleen Rellihan of Adventure.com (spoiler alert: it's so much more than bungee jumping and sky diving)!
It's going to be a weekend full of inspiration and good times, so make sure to grab your tickets while they are still available!
Can't make it to the fest?
You can still get involved, learn more, and support these badass females who are all doing awesome things in the wild world of travel. Meet a few of them here:

Her memoir, A House in the Sky, is a gut-wrenching yet beautiful book where she recounts being kidnapped while on assignment in Somalia and held hostage for over a year. Her story digs deep into the human spirit, the power of forgiveness, and how to rebuild.
